In yo face Trump! Listen, I may be a registered democrat, but for some reason I would've voted for Donald Trump. The reason being he's a good businessman. In fact, I would say he's a great businessman, but the way he handled this whole birther business rubbed me and many people the wrong way.
There was a sense of distastefulness about the whole thing that I couldn't get past. First off, if you're trying to be a candidate for presidency, you should make yourself likable by all parties. This is not the way to get liked. Well, it doesn't matter cause the White House released the birth certificate today.
Many argue now that it was unnecessary, but I think it was a good move. The President himself was surprised by how much attention a simple thing like his birth certificate was drawing. White House Communication Director Dan Pfeiffer said "The President believed the distraction over his birth certificate wasn't good for the country. It may have been good politics and good T.V., but it was bad for the American people and distracting from the many challenges we face as a country.
He continued, "At a time of great consequence for this country--when we should be debating how we win in the future, reduce our deficit, deal with high gas prices, and bring stability to the Middle East, Washington D.C., was once again distracted by a fake issue. The President's hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country."
