A small Christian "outreach center" in Florida, whose website is still under construction is causing quite a stir. Why? Because they don't want the proposed "mosque" (which is actually an Islamic Center of prayer) to be built on Ground Zero. Real Estate. Even from Florida a small time preacher can control what gets built where. Oh and the best part is that he obviously doesn't realize that the Islamic Center isn't actually ON Ground Zero.
So the debate rolls on, should we burn Qurans to protest? Should the preacher agree to not burn Qurans if they agree to move the site. Well Pastor Jones, they are holding up their agreement, they're not building on Ground Zero, that is what you asked; isn't it? I'm not even sure if this pastor has even been to NYC let alone whether or not he knows where they're building or not building.
So called "Americans" support this pastor and agree that we should burn Qurans and fight for our "rights". What rights? The right for American citizens to buy property and do what they want with that property? Oh, yeah, Muslims need not apply. I believe people will always be divided on this topic. Although to me, the right thing to do seems crystal clear.
